Pub 25!

Posted by ChroniclesCapersCanards

There is much more to this little pub than just being a bar. And the bar part wouldn't even matter to us for another 4 or 5 years anyway. This place might be on the top of my list of favorite restaurants. I say it beats the Inn at Newtown, especially the prices. I am never ever disappointed when i go there. Tonight I went and got an "American" Onion soup. which is just a different name for French onion soup. It was SO good. You get a good amount of gruyère cheese, and the onions are like butter. they literally fall apart in your mouth. We also got Pub fried calamari as an appetizer as well, which was also not disappointing at all. For my main meal i had the Linguini and clam sauce. The pasta was homemade from our local pasta shop, Villarina's. Topped on the pasta was give or take 10 medium sized steamed clams. I do have to say that the sauce was little too much buttery for my likings, but I really cannot complain. It was still so good. I HIGHLY recommend going. but if you do, make reservations just in case. it gets very packed, very quickly.
