Our taste changes as we get older. You may want to revisit the whole fish thing in a few years..there are many wonderful fish dishes in the world. What are your "root" foods? Perhaps you should write about that in a future blog.
RE: papusa...the dough should be the consistency of play dough...not too dry but not too wet. If it cracks when you form them, add water. It also needs to rest a bit. But I love the fact that you went home and recreated them. Did you use the same filling?
